The final conference of PATHFINDER+ “Community Employment and Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation” was a great success, with over 100 participants and 18 panelists enjoying the event, which spanned the entire day of September 18, 2025, and was held at Las Naves, Valencia Innovation Capital (Valencia, Spain). Valencia Innovation Capital is a platform of the Valencia City Council’s Department of Innovation, whose objectives align with those of Pathfinder; therefore, we believe that organizing and running the project at their facilities contributed to its warm reception.

The conference brought together key stakeholders, partners, and change agents to reflect on Community Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Social Innovation. Participants included representatives from public institutions, such as the Alicante City Council; private companies, such as Caixabank; foundations, such as Novafeina and the Servipoli Foundation; and social entrepreneurs, such as Mamás en Acción, Akisei, LLum Social, and Aiudo, among many others.

The morning session consisted of the following four roundtables:

  • Entrepreneurship, Employment, and Sustainability
  • Social Innovation: Transforming Communities
  • Success Stories
  • Training Needs and Challenges in Social Entrepreneurship

The afternoon session featured a thematic panel on the main results of Pathfinder.

The Pathfinder finale event provided a rigorous forum for debate and collaboration on community entrepreneurship and social innovation, strengthening synergies between universities, government agencies, businesses, and social organizations. The goal was to advance the development of skills and competencies that drive sustainable, high-impact strategies for the economic and social improvement of our communities.
